The van was clean comfortable and a newer Toyota model with usb ports for charging our devices. The chauffeur was an excellent driver who knew the roads, providing the necessary cautions as we travelled from Accra to the Cape Coast Castle. This took extra skill since much of the route is through a construction zone. I contacted GCR with a last minute request for car and driver and they managed to deliver. Smooth booking and excellent customer service. Their staff are super efficient and helpful. Their cars are clean and air conditioned and road worthy. Our driver on the day drove a little quicker than we would have liked (my wife did not enjoy some parts of the drive as he drove too fast and close to other cars). Compared to other drivers we have used from GCR, this one was not as good as others. I d still recommend GCR to anyone as they are very customer conscious and it’s still value for money. Wonderful experience. Our driver Kawawa proved to be an excellent driver and equally careful guide. He proved to be very useful in crossing the borders with Togo and Benin. Even the car, a Mitsubishi jeep, never gave any problems during the approximately 2,500 km travelled in fifteen days on roads that were certainly not easy.
