We hired a 4x4 for 13 days and travelled through most of Ghana. We were very happy with the service and we would not hesitate to recommend the company to other travellers. Our driver, Selassie, was outstanding. He was a safe driver, kind and very knowledgeable. We were sad to say goodbye! It is Africa and we had a few car problems at the beginning but the company were very quick to send a replacement.

I contacted several Ghanaian airport transfer companies, and Ghana Car Rentals was the only one to respond. Throughout, they reacted quickly and were efficient. The driver was on time. The only drawback is that a transfer in Accra is 60 USD, which is pricey. Overall, I got the sense that they run a tight ship, and they communicate well.
